Comments from guests about their stay at the Lodge.
"It was idyllic!!! Wouldn't change a thing!"

"Hilde & Tony, a pastoral refuge that re-kindles
the soul - the peace, the quiet, the solitude and set all
amongst the beauty & charm of the Wicklow Hills - heaven
can't be better !! (though I'm sure it is as good !!!). We
look forward to returning again soon ! - the soul is coming
in need of re-kindling & the body craves your haute cuisine."

"A wonderful relaxing retreat in the countryside
with magnificent vistas. The luxury of the wonderful old bed
with its huge linen and down duvet and the wonderful views
from your beautifully restored farmhouse, is only superceded
by your hospitality. A relaxing retreat where one can breath
the pure country air while gazing out over the Irish sea in
the distance."

"In the mountains overlooking the sea. What breathtaking
scenery to wake up to! The rooms are luxurious, spacious and
very comfortable. The beautiful surrounding countryside is
a perfect place to calm one's senses by taking enjoyable walks.
Hilde and Tony are the perfect hosts. A more warm and friendly
welcome will be hard to find anywhere else. We loved the chef's
creations with it's Irish, German and South-African flavours.
Thank you for a most pleasurable time."

"Ireland is such a pretty place to visit and even
more so from Ballycullen Lodge. Luxurious accommodation, away
from all the hustle and bustle, with beautiful views in a
gorgeous garden setting, the most gracious hosts and fabulous,
healthy cooking. Here one can truly just hang around and relax
or it can be a superb home away from home to return to after
a busy day of sight-seeing. Very highly recommended!"
Liesel
"It was a very pleasant experience to enjoy such
great hospitality, and we thought the location just wonderful.
We will definitely be back!"

"I cannot think of a more pleasant place to see
the gorse bushes in flower in April, the foxgloves a-burst
in June, the leaves turning golden in the autumn or the stars
shining out to sea at any time (weather permitting). I can
recommend this haven of peace."
